Are you ready to move off-campus? Renters have rights and responsibilities when they sign a lease. Do you know what yours are? This class explores these rights and responsibilities detailed in the Virginia Residential Landlord and Tenants Act, which will assist the renter in making informed decisions in the duration of the lease. Our special facilitator will be Elizabeth Ballard the Managing Attorney of the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia’s Norfolk office which covers Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and the Eastern Shore.
